OUTSTANDING LESSONS
We have employed the Academy for the last 5 years to provide our PE for PPA. All the coaches are very professional and have developed good relationships with children and staff alike. They have high expectations and deliver lessons that when observed by myself or my senior leaders are consistently good if not better. I have observed some outstanding lessons where the progress that the children have made during the lessons was very evident.
They also support us with planning and delivering an exciting sports day. The Head Coach (Martin) is continuously improving the quality and rigor of what is on offer and works on developing effective on-going assessment that can contribute to end of year reports.

RAISING STANDARDS
The Academy has been instrumental in raising standards of PE across the school and have played an important part in developing our participation in competitive sporting compeitions and events. The involvement of The Academy and it’s team of wonderful coaches goes further than just delivering PE lessons. They have helped to plan and run successful sports days and various in-school compettions, as well as taking part in other school events.

IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE
“Thank you LFA for giving my son so much more confidence in football. He has impaired hearing which impacted his confidence so much he withdrew from all team sports. He attended your recent soccer school and has rediscovered his confidence and eagerness to kick balls around again.
You have done an amazing job and it brings tears to my eyes when I think about how positively you have impacted his wellbeing and confidence. The LFA have made an important difference to him.”

EXCELLENT ROLE MODELS FOR CHILDREN

The coaches are all very professional and provide excellent role models for our children. They have also contributed to the life of the school through helping to plan and run sports day and offering lunchtime and after school sports clubs.

GIVES CHILDREN A HEAD START
At our school we aim to give children an opportunity to take part in and perform well in a range of borough and London wide competitions. Coaches from the London Academy of Sport enable us to achieve this really well as coaches quickly teach necessary skills and techniques. We feel it also gives children a head start for secondary school as the coaches are happy to teach a wide variety of sports, such as hockey which we are not able to offer as an after school club. Our school often wins or come close to winning competitions and a big part of this is due to the work done by the excellent coaches at London Academy of Sport. Children absolutely love the sessions and the parents are very happy with the progress their children are making in PE at our school.
