Our specialist coaches deliver action packed lessons that follow the national curriculum, freeing up resources in other areas of your school.

LUNCHTIME AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

These clubs encourage children to adopt an active and healthy attitude to sport throughout the school day in a structured environment. We love introducing children to new sports and getting as many as possible to participate.

Our structured lunchtime clubs deliver 30-45 minute sessions and encourage a balance of physical and mental challenges throughout the school day.

After school clubs can be paid for by parents or the school and can also provide schools with additional income.

We currently offer football, cricket, basketball, dodgeball and multisport club. These fun clubs encourage children to develop their technique, skill, creativity and game understanding.

PE & SPORT PREMIUM DEVELOPMENT PLAN

We work with you to get the best value out of your funding, and to establish short and long term targets ensuring every one of your pupils enjoy sporting progressions and achievement.

Under the new inspection framework, OFSTED inspectors will assess how effectively schools are using the Primary PE and Sport Premium and measure its impact on outcomes for pupils. The new strategy for sport also mandates that teachers need to be upskilled to make the delivery of quality PE sustainable in the long term.

Most of our basic plans developed with schools include:

• Long Range Plan. This includes all the units of instruction that we aim to deliver throughout the year. This is done by month and year group
• Add in Important dates. Mark of highlight days when classes aren’t on a normal schedule. These could include holidays, special assemblies, sports days, inter-school tournaments, school assessments, Sport Relief, etc etc.
• Plan Units of Instruction. Work backwards from the holidays and important dates so units don’t have big gaps in them and can culminate on important events. Try to plan units around relevant times (eg; football in autumn term or around World Cup…Athletics in the summer of before Olympics)

ACTIVITY DAYS

We provide your teachers with a breather for particular years groups with our unique activity days. These take place at our safe and secure Alexandra Park venue guaranteeing your pupils an excitement filled day, and your teacher’s quality PPA time.

We provide your pupils with an adrenaline-fuelled day that can feature up to 12 different sports including football, dodgeball, cricket, hockey, athletics netball tag-rugby and table tennis. All equipment is tailored to primary school aged children.

If required we can also arrange transport and lunch to help with planning for the day.

SPORTS DAY

The highlight of any school’s sporting year – our coaching team will help make yours one to remember.

Organising and running a sports day can be a challenging and very time consuming task.

From egg-and-spoon races to space-hoppers and bubble football, we will help you organise a memorable and fun-filled day. We can also adapt it to fit around a particular them your school is working on.

HOLIDAY CLUBS

We currently run holiday camps in London many of which are hosted by schools. We are the perfect partner to generate extra rental income for your school.

Our Ofsted registered soccer schools and multisport camps operate 8:00am – 6:00pm. This gives parents the flexibility they need and children more of what they love.

PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES

We help your pupils develop leadership, coaching and officiating skills in their chosen sport. We also provide a pathway to competitive sport with our new teams and links to local clubs.

At The Academy we firmly believe about the benefits of leadership for every child and recognise the important role young people play in delivering school and community sport opportunities for others.

The leadership learning experience takes place at school as well as the community. At each stage we aim to outline learning outcomes, training and deployment opportunities.
